According to biblical accounts, it is clear that these Annual Holy Days belong to God and not man. They are God's appointed seasons for mankind to come before Him in Holy convocations of worship and are to be observed perpetually throughout our generations (Leviticus 23: 1-44). These are God's Feasts to be observed at their appointed times so we can learn of their significance and their importance as they relate to God's plan of
salvation for all of humanity.
According to the scripture: Gen 1:14, God had already provided these appointed festivals for man before he made man. The word "seasons" in the text is translated "Moed" in the Hebrew language, which describes holy convocations, appointed times of worship. God wanted man to be spiritually sustained. He wanted man to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to prosper in his relationship with God and with man, so he provided a righteous way of life
for him to live by. He also knows that he gave man the freedom to choose and that it is up to man to make that choice.
The scriptures teach that God chose the nation of Israel (a Jewish Nation) to show the rest of humanity His way so they may walk in it. Clearly, as a nation, they failed, so God chose to work with the gentiles under a new covenant through repentance, baptism and the infilling of His Holy Spirit in their hearts and their minds. In light of this, these gentiles receive sonship with Christ and are in essence, spiritual Jews. Gal. 3:29 tells us if we are Christ's we are Abraham's seed. Romans 2: 28-29 tells us: For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is external in the flesh; V29: Rather, he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart,
in the spirit and not in the letter, whose praise is not from men, but from God.
We encourage those who are desirous of learning about the significance and importance of the annual Holy Days of God to do so. You will be empowered and enriched with spiritual edification.
We have no predictions as to what will or may happen on a global level when these dates arrive. We will wait to see with everyone. We pray for God's Divine mercies upon us all.
